3point8 Performance is founded by Dustin and Trisha Davis.

Dustin has always been a thinker. He always thought of way to make things “better” or “easier” without high costs. Born an only child, he often stayed out of trouble by fixing broken things around him and finding ways to make money.  He got his first computer at age 11. A broken IBM that was going to be thrown away. He opened the casing and began learning. He was able to fix that IBM, and used it to learn more.  Dustin had a gift for retaining and understanding information he read. He learned how to read and write binary code and then moved to learn programming code in other languages.

Dustin was expelled from high school for winning a bet his teacher waged with him. Dustin told his teacher, he could hack into the school system. The teacher said there was no way. They set a bet for $20 bucks. So Dustin hacked into their student records system and showing the school how poor their system security was.

Proving his skill to them didn’t workout the way he had planned, but it worked out for him in the long run.  Dustin was sent to an adult continuation school, which allowed him to earn high school credits at his own pace, so he graduated a year early.

So out of high school, at 17 years old, He started out as a Gaming Architect. After a few years he moved on to networking and web systems/security. He worked for many different companies in the medical, large grocery companies, insurance, and big names like Black N Decker and Live Nation.

Dustin hated boredom. He often needed to switch up his environment or have multiple projects going at once, to keep his mind busy. He always had a full time job and a side job of some sort. He wrote many educational books for private Colleges. He authored educational videos for Plural Sight.  Dustin loved learned new things and sharing them with others.

After 20 year as a successful Computer Software Engineer he decided he wanted to do something new.
